This hovercrat is still parked near the Hoverport in Anchorage, Alaska and is getting a lot of attention in the News and from Downtown Anchorage. Many people have had a chance to get a ride on it which is rare for most people in the United States. We have some video coming, so check back in a few days for video of this hovercraft in action.

Dave has decided to relist the hovercraft he bought this spring. It is our demo unit built in 2006. He wants to upgrade to a larger hovercraft that can carry two four wheelers and more people. An AP-188-2 in Anchorage, next to the Hoverport departing next to the USHovercraft 16ft Expedition 6. This 188 has just been fitted with 4 new engines and is going through US Coast Guard certification. It is owned by Alaska Hovercraft and is one of two working in Alaska currently.

Here is one of the local hovercraft operators, Les C. operating his 7 ft X 14 ft single engine Sevtec. Les has been operating hovercraft for many years and has rebuilt this hull, replaced his engine and skirt, and made many modifications to his Hovercraft after hours of use. Les has a lot of Hovercraft experience and is shown her near the Knik River Southeast of Wasilla, Alaska.
