Directions to the Hoverport in Anchorage: |
The USHovercraft Hoverport is located on the waterfront at the International Port of Anchorage. From downtown Anchorage, head north on A Street. Travel over the Alaska Railroad Industrial Area and take the PORT EXIT to the right. That exit will take you over A street and you will be headed down hill. Take the first left onto OCEAN DOCK RD. Turn right on SHIP CREEK BOAT LAUNCH ROAD. (You will be driving over two sets of Railroad tracks.) The first street on your right is Western Drive. Do not turn onto Western drive. Continue staight after the railroad tracks. You will be entering the industrial area and the road will be gravel. Continue over the bridge over Ship Creek and stay on that road until you reach the water. The Hoverport is white and is the largest building on the waterfront. Estimated driving time from downtown area is 5 minutes. |
